Residential Curbside Recycling

The City Council voted recently to approve a residential curbside recycling program subject to sufficient customer support. Each household now receiving garbage collection service from the City will automatically be included in the curbside recycling program UNLESS an "Opt-out" form is completed, signed and return to North Salt Lake City on or before November 25, 2009. Spring Cleanup April 14 - 18!

Spring cleanup has been scheduled for April 14-18th and roll-offs will be available at Hatch park – 50 West Center, Foxhollow Park – 655 N. Foxhollow Dr., Eaglewood Golf Course – lower parking lot – 1110 East Eaglewood Drive and Eaglewood Drive & Davis Blvd. The roll-offs will be delivered Thursday afternoon, April 14th and will be picked up sometime Monday morning, April 18th. There will be 2 roll-offs at each location…one for green waste and one for regular waste. Please keep your garbage separated, as the City gets a much cheaper rate at the landfill for green waste...

Green Waste Recycling Program

We are pleased to announce that the Mayor and City Council have authorized a Green Waste Recycling Program. This new program is in response to resident requests, and participation will be on a voluntary, subscription service. Twenty percent (20%) of households must opt in for the program to go into effect.
