Nature Preserve Volunteer Day

The Legacy Nature Preserve Team is planning to have a volunteer Jordan River Cleanup Day on Saturday August 25, 2007
We will be partnering with the Jordan Riverkeeper Organization to clean up a section of the Jordan River located within the preserve. Canoes and kayaks will be used to shuffle floating garbage to the shore, where groups will count and bag it. This will be a great opportunity to access the Legacy Nature Preserve and do your part to help preserve our natural resources. Participants will need to bring water, snacks, sunscreen, hats, and binoculars. Long pants and a long-sleeved shirt are suggested, as are sturdy boots/waders and work gloves.
