Welcome to the City Finance Department! The Department consists of three full-time employees: Finance Director, Treasurer, and Utility Billing Clerk. The Department also receives accounts payable assistance from the City Recorder. 

The City Finance Department is pleased to provide services to over 3, 000 residential and commercial utility customers now. Additionally, department employees take care of the needs of 52 full-time and approximately 100 seasonal or part-time employees each year. General obligation debt is rated at "A" or better. Water bond debt rates were upgraded from "BAA+" to "A" rating in July 2006. The City received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting (CAEFR) for the 2003-2004 fiscal year, and received notice of award for the 2004-2005 fiscal year in February 2006.
