Police Department Administration


The Administrative Division is the support for other divisions in the Department. We are also the “face” of the Department when citizens come to the police department and need assistance. We are committed to customer service with the citizens and officers.

The personel in this division include police department administrators and office staff; The office staff takes care of the officer report database, citations,finger prints, billings, crossing guard’s and all other clerical type support services. The Crossing Guard Unit consists of part time employees that keep a close watch on our school age children as they travel to and from school. The Department Administration as well as the Detective Division handles internal affairs investigations complaints and incidents of alleged misconduct. All officers uniforms and equipment items are issued from the Department Administration. The Department Administration spends a significant amount of time taking care of budget concerns, internal department issues and inter-department relations with other local police agencies and also frequently reviews policy and implements new procedures. Homeland security and emergency operations are also handled by the Department Administration.
