NSL City is accepting applications for City Prosecutor. Deadline is July 31, 2010.

City Attorney – North Salt Lake City, UT.  The city is recruiting for a municipally experienced attorney to serve as its contract city attorney.  The city attorney is responsible to the Mayor and City Council and works cooperatively the city manager in handling all civil legal matters of the city.  The successful candidate will have proven work experience in public records, open meetings, personnel law, municipal law and have a demonstrated ability to work with the inherent diversity of a city council. 

A solid track record as a successful municipal litigator is a must and at least 8 years of experience as a City Attorney with a city of a comparable size.  All respondents will need to be members of the Utah Sate Bar and in good standing.  In order to be considered the successful candidate must be willing to attend evening city council meetings which normally are held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday’s.  Compensation for this position will be negotiated based on qualifications and experience.  Legal firms and sole practitioners are encouraged to apply. City Prosecutor- North Salt Lake City, UT.  The city is recruiting for a municipally experienced attorney to serve as its contract city prosecutor.  The city prosecutor works closely with the Police Department and Court staff  in prosecuting criminal cases in the North Salt Lake Justice Court.  The successful candidate will have 8 years experience prosecuting criminal cases in a municipal court.  Only those individuals who are members of the Utah State Bar and in good standing will be considered.  The prosecutor must pass a rigorous background investigation.
