Parks and Recreation

North Salt Lake has beautiful parks and incredible recreational opportunities. In the summer, you are just minutes away from scenic hiking and mountain biking trails, fishing in cold mountain streams or jet skiing on a nearby lake. In the winter, you are 40 minutes away from the best ski resorts in the world, and minutes away from snowmobiling and snow shoeing trails.

City Residents also have access to South Davis Recreation District, with an Olympic Size Pool, ice skating, softball and much more.

The City has sophisticated parks and recreation department with activities for children, teenages, adults and seniors--all year long.

TO RESERVE ONE OF THE CITY'S PARKS, PLEASE CALL (801)335-8721.

Landscaping

The City would like to encourage all NSL residents to begin remodeling their yards in an effort to promote water conservation.  For wonderful suggestions and displays, go to Utah State University's Utah Botanical Center link: www.utahbotanicalcenter.org, or visit the Utah House at 920 South 50 West, Kaysville, UT  84037. The Utah House can be contacted by phone at 801-544-3089.
