Foxboro Wetlands Park

9.3.25 Update

The park is complete and a grand re-opening and ribbon cutting will be held on 9.11.25 at 10:00 am at the park. We hope the public will join us for this exciting event.

8.5.25 Update

Contractors have had some delays but continue to work on installing the irrigation lines. Once irrigation lines are in and working, additional plantings will be added to the wetlands landscape.

7.8.25 Update

Irrigation is being installed this week with new vegetation being planted the week of 7.21. The boardwalk should be completed by 8.1.25.

6.5.25 Update

The boardwalks have been delivered to the City and additional deliveries will continue. Installation will begin in the section west of Foxhollow after the caps arrive. (The piers are complete.)

1.8.25 Update

Plans are (finally) underway for the development of the Foxboro Wetlands Park, a 23-acre parcel of designated wetlands located at 515 North Cutler Drive.

Behind-the-scenes planning and concept work began prior to 2016, and although it has been an extensive process acquiring financial grants and navigating approvals from the Army Corp of Engineers, among other obstacles, we know it will be worth it! Between now and the park's completion, you can expect to see species of invasive trees and weeds removed and replaced with beautiful native landscaping. Added features will include boardwalks throughout the park and observation areas for viewing wildlife and birds. These open space improvements will also create better connectivity for the surrounding neighborhoods and another area for families and friends to get out and enjoy their own community!

Watch for additional updates. The current expected completion date is mid-to-late summer 2025.
