2025: Coventry and Freedom

📅 For the remainder of the project:
Please place your garbage cans at the curb the night before your scheduled pickup day.

🕓 Why?
ACE Disposal will be making rounds very early in the morning before construction begins.
Cans not out on time may be missed.

⚠️ MISSED PICKUP?
Unfortunately, missed pickups cannot be rescheduled.
You’ll need to wait until the following week.

Project Update 11.13.25

Paving is scheduled for the remainder of Coventry, as well as most of Freedom, on Saturday, November 15th between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

If your home is located in the area being paved, access will be restricted during this time.  If you will need your vehicle during the day, please move it before 9:00 AM, as driveway access may unavailable until 6:00 PM or later.  

Please follow all traffic control signs and directions.  Asphalt must be placed, compacted, and allowed to cool before vehicles can drive on it.  Driving too early on the new pavement can cause permanent damage. 

Temporary parking options:  Dorthea, Constitution or Centennial.  Please avoid parking too near the work area or blocking access to the work area, as asphalt trucks will need to enter and exit the work zone.

Here is some basic information about the project.

  • Storm Drain – new storm drain
    • New storm drain line in road
    • New manholes & inlet boxes
    • Impactful to traffic – storm drain runs straight, crosses curvy road to next MH location
  • Water line replacement
    • Old line is about 50 years old
    • Replace service laterals and meters
    • Replacement of old PRV’s with new vaults
    • Connections to existing home service line – we should add the statement PW’s wrote about what happens if their line is old/unable to connect
  • Full asphalt replacement
