Spring and Fall Clean-Up days are for NSL residents and businesses only (No Contractors)

2023 Dates

  • Spring Clean-up: May 19-21
  • Fall Clean-up: September 22-24

During the designated days each spring and fall, large dumpsters are available for garbage, green waste and metals at the Public Works building. Crews from the City are present and available to help residents who want to drop off approved materials at no charge.

  • Hazardous waste
  • Paint and lacquer
  • Refrigerators
  • Sod and dirt
  • Tires
  • TV’s and other E Waste

Household hazardous waste is accepted in containers no larger than 5 gallons. No more than 20 gallons of any one item may be dropped off for disposal or reuse, per visit; and no more than 6 of any one item of electronic waste. There is no charge to drop off hazardous waste from households. Business waste is NOT accepted at the household hazardous waste facility.
