ntd_2017In conjunction with the WFRC Golden Spoke Trail Ride, celebrating the completion of 100 miles of continuous paved and separated trails along the Wasatch Front, the City of North Salt Lake is hosting its own National Trails Day Event (National Trails Day). The event will host a stop for the Golden Spoke 100 mile riders with a watering station and refreshments. Residents are encouraged to attend and ride a section of the trail with their city and county elected officials. More information about the Golden Spoke Event info: http://wfrc.org/programs/active-transportation/golden-spoke/

The National Trails Day Celebration will be from 10-1 on June 2 with the City, along with the County Health Department hosting a kids bike safety rodeo, bike helmet safety check and fitting, and kids helmets for sale at the reduced cost of $10. Bicycle vendors and clubs will also be on hand with bike demos and club and project information.

City and County staff representatives will be available to answer your questions about access to local trails systems, available maps, proper trail use, and good stewardship of this awesome recreation asset in our community.

This is a family fun event and we invite all that love the outdoors and trails to come celebrate with us!
