Get to the River Event - 10th Anniversary
Saturday, September 16, 2023
The Get to the River Festival is a month long series of community events centered along the Jordan River and Jordan River Parkway. For 30 days cities and counties along the Jordan River will host river-focused celebrations and conservation activities centered around the Jordan River.
Join us in celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Get to the River Festival on September 16th! This year's "Jordan River Paddle" includes a canoe/kayak trip along a beautiful 3-mile stretch of the Jordan River. Join us at 8:30 am at the Riverview Boat Ramp in Salt Lake City (1835 N. Redwood Rd.). We will end at Porter's Landing Boat Takeout in NSL (50 South Jordan River Drive) where a food truck will be available for an after-paddle breakfast! A shuttle will be provided for transportation back to vehicles at the put-in location.
Canoes and kayaks (along with life vests) will be available at no cost to you, but please feel free to bring your own as there is always limited availability. Participants will need to sign the waiver and bring it on the day of the event or email to Ali Avery (email@example.com). Blank copies of the waiver will be available that day, as well.
Event brought to you by: City of North Salt Lake, Davis County, and the Jordan River Commission.
