Are there restrictions on home occupations in the City of North Salt Lake?

Yes. Essentially, you may not conduct a home occupation if the business creates additional impacts on neighbors or surrounding streets and utilities. Examples of the types of restrictions include no employees or customers coming to the home, no machinery involved in the business, and no excessive noise, dust or garbage. For a detailed list of restrictions, refer to Section 10-10-5 of the City of North Salt Lake Code.
