Parks Department

The Parks Department takes great pride in the City's beautiful, scenic parks and trails system. Our goal is to continually enhance and beautify the City's green spaces so that those who use them will have a positive and memorable experience.

The City of North Salt Lake operates and maintains over 57 different properties that include turf, native grass, restrooms, landscaping, pavilions and playgrounds.

Throughout the Seasons

North Salt Lake has beautiful parks and great recreational opportunities throughout the year. In summer, residents are just minutes away from scenic hiking and mountain biking trails, fishing in cold mountain streams, or jet skiing on a nearby lake. NSL Summer Recreation offers classes at Hatch Park for children ages 3 to12. Eaglewood Golf Course is located on the City's east side, offering yet another recreation resource to North Salt Lake residents.

In the winter, our trails are used for cross country skiing, winter biking, snow shoeing and more. North Salt Lake is also only 40 minutes away from the best ski resorts in the world!

Splash Pad Hours: 

Monday-Saturday 10:00am-8:00pm and Sunday 12:00pm-6:00pm.  

The Splash Pad Season runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Additional Amenities

City residents also have access to South Davis Recreation Center, with an Olympic-sized pool, ice skating, recreation programs and much more.
