The City's Golf Course Oversight Committee was established in 2020 as a long-term ongoing body to serve as a voice of the public and work closely with city staff and City Council relating to the golf course. Specific tasks include evaluating and recommending to the City Council strategies and proposals related to advertising and marketing, pricing, course conditions, general course maintenance, repairs and renovations, events and any other matters related to the daily operation and long-term viability of the golf course. Members of this Committee are appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council. Appointees are selected to serve four-year terms that begin on March 1 of any year.
