You must have a City of North Salt Lake Business License if you operate a business in the City, and it must be renewed annually.
If the address for your business is not your home, but some other location within North Salt Lake city limits, then you are a commercial business. Please note that this address can not be a residential address and must be an approved use at that location.
A North Salt Lake Business License is not the same as a Utah Department of Commerce license or a license obtained through the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing (DOPL).
The Business License application process takes on average about two weeks to process once you have completed the application and paid the appropriate fees.
