Storm Water Department
The city, through it's Public Works Department, performs various daily tasks to maintain the city and provide city residents with safety. Our goal is to offer residents fast, effective, and friendly service.
Snow Removal Season
Providing safe travel on emergency, major arterial, and school routes will be the primary goal. Residential streets will be addressed in a timely manner after higher priority routes have been completed. The amount of snow and conditions during each event will determine the time required to remove snow and the degree to which streets are plowed. Understand that response time will depend on many different factors, including when the storm begins, snow moisture and storm duration. Our snow removal crews are prepared to work 24 hours a day. As long as the snow keeps falling, the City's top priority is to keep main roads open and passable. For our Snow Removal Guide click HERE
